When you're looking for a locksmith in northeast Philadelphia or any of the neighborhoods in the north section of the city, who can you call? North Philadelphia Locksmith! Our locksmith service is available to everyone in city and here's a list of just a few of the neighborhoods we serve:

Fairmount, Spring Garden & Francisville (19130) – The Fairmount neighborhood has several subdivisions within the area's boundaries that include Spring Garden and Francisville. Fairmount got its name from the prominent hill where the Philadelphia Museum of Art now sits and is also where William Penn originally intended to build his manor house.

Strawberry Mansion (19132) – Did you know that the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood used to be known as Summerville? The name change comes from a house, ironically called Strawberry Mansion, where at one time it used to be a restaurant that was known for their strawberries and cream!

Fairhill (19133) – The Fairhill neighborhood has some historic roots where it was once home to the prominent Isaac Norris who was an early merchant of the town and later became the mayor of Philadelphia in 1724.

Brewerytown (19121) – Just like its name entails, Brewerytown started to appear on maps in the 1860s and featured several brewers and distillation facilities. Since it's close to the river and had nearby farmland, it allowed these establishments to flourish. At its peak, there were 700 breweries operating across Philadelphia where several were in the area of Brewerytown.

Yorktown & Old Kensington (19122) – Both Yorktown and Old Kensington were known as heavy industry areas prior to World War II. After the war ended, the factories started to become vacant and in recent years, those formerly vacant factories have been turned into lofts, condos and artistic workspaces.

Northern Liberties, Poplar & West Polar (19123) – The Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia was similar to that of the above, where industries and manufacturers thrived. However, after the economic boom of the era dwindled off, the area has seen a change in formerly vacant manufacturing and industry buildings that have been converted into housing and trendy restaurants.

Now that you know some brief history of your neighborhood, these are just a few of the surrounding neighborhoods that North Philadelphia Locksmith serves. If you ever need a locksmith, give us a call for immediate service!
